PAINT PROTEST: Harrods’ Knightsbridge store was the newest goal for the environmental organization Just Stop Oil. One entrance and a couple of adjoining windows were spray-painted orange on Thursday morning and about 20 people staged a sit-down protest on the road in front of the posh store. A member of the group said in a video posted on Twitter that the owner of Harrods, which is the state of Qatar via its sovereign wealth fund the Qatar Investment Authority, “also has shares in oil and gas firms. LONDON – Burberry is exploring a latest creative path, and talking to designers who could potentially replace chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci, whose contract expires in early 2023. In response to industry sources, one in every of those designers is Daniel Lee, who made an abrupt departure from the Kering-owned Bottega Veneta late last yr, shortly after the brand’s spring-summer 2022 runway show in Detroit, Michigan. One source said that Lee and Burberry were in advanced discussions, although no deal has been signed.
