MILAN — After the unexpected collaboration with Barilla in 2019, GCDS is strengthening its ties with the food industry and partnering with Pepsi. First teased last week when posts with the 2 brands’ logos standing out against a dark background began to flow into on social media, the partnership marks the launch of the Pepsi Zero soft drink in Italy and Southern Europe, including Spain and Portugal. For the occasion, GCDS has reinterpreted the Pepsi can in a special limited edition, which will likely be promoted through a series of activations across Italy, and has developed a dedicated capsule collection of apparel and accessories. Gucci Vault’s Summer Capsule Launches Monday
Gucci is evoking the sun, clear blue skies and warm waters for the newest installment of its Vault concept. Gucci Vault was introduced in the autumn of 2021 as an experimental online space that provides vintage and archival pieces in addition to limited-edition collaborations with other key brands, including Charvet, ERL, Wales Bonner and Martine Rose. For this summer, it has partnered with eight brands from around the globe to supply an eclectic assortment of ready-to-wear, jewelry, shoes and accessories for men and women from well-known in addition to emerging brands. Fans lined the road for hours in Seoul Wednesday to catch a glimpse of Jennie Kim when she arrived at a celebration to rejoice her latest capsule, Jennie for Calvin Klein. The invitation-only event, attended by 400 people, was held at Scene Seoul in Seongsu-dong, the town’s hotspot for creatives. Jennie greeted the guests wearing the knit minidress in sheer lilac from the limited-edition capsule.
