LONDON — Toteme, the nine-year-old Swedish contemporary fashion brand, is launching a travel-focused capsule collection Tuesday with luxury e-tailer Mytheresa. The 26-piece capsule in deep navy and optic white includes ready-to-wear sets in crisp cotton poplin and jacquard stripes, graphic skirts and dresses, monogram trousers, and a collection of summer-ready shoes and accessories. Montage Hotels & Resorts has tapped Jonathan Simkhai to design a capsule collection for its twentieth anniversary. The collaboration sparks from a friendship, Simkhai explained: The Los Angeles designer is nice friends with Montage International’s creative director, Azadeh Hawkins. “We’ve all the time talked about considering of the way that we will work together.” Featuring women’s and men’s sleep and swimwear starting from about $66 to $225, the road includes organic silk apparel — a V-neck camisole, long-sleeve top, pants and robe — a one-piece swimsuit in recycled nylon, board shorts in recycled polyester and a T-shirt in organic cotton. Nordstrom has teamed with Paris-based contemporary brand Casablanca for its next pop-up. The 2 corporations have created an exclusive capsule of contemporary tennis-inspired athleisurewear for the Casablanca@Nordstrom concept. The road includes ready-to-wear, accessories, jewelry and eyewear for men and girls including après-sport tracksuits, engineered knitwear and on-court looks. As well as, a special collaboration with Mad Paris may also be offered, including a Contax G2 camera and the primary Casablanca tennis racquet housed in a specially designed case featuring the brand’s signature perforated leather and colorblock branding.
