GetHarley Closes $52 Million Funding Round Led by Index

LONDON — GetHarley, a web based marketplace connecting consumers with clinicians and personalized skincare products, has raised $52 million in funding led by Index Ventures, a backer of Farfetch, Glossier and Beauty Pie. Billed as an inexpensive and hassle-free bespoke skincare offering, GetHarley enables customers to talk to top clinicians virtually at a small fee and receive skilled guidance on what skincare or treatment they needs to be getting. The platform also offers concierge services to assist beauty clinics deliver personalized products to customers. Matter of Fact Skin Care Brand Closes $6 Million

Matter of Fact has closed its second round of funding, to the tune of $6 million. The brand, founded by Paul Baek in 2021, closed a round of additional funding with participation from Horizon Ventures and Cowboy Ventures, along with James and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, in addition to Birchbox cofounder Hayley Barna. That brings Matter of Fact’s total funding to $16 million. The corporate raised $10 million in seed funding in 2021. Matter of Fact currently only has two products, and sells directly on its website. The brand launched with a 20 percent vitamin C serum, which boasts two years of shelf stability resulting from a patent-pending delivery system, and likewise sells a moisturizer. Fast-facial spot Glowbar Closes $10 Million Series A –

Facial bars seem like ripe for investment. Not long after Heyday announced its Series B extension, Glowbar, known for its 30-minute, $65 facial, has received a $10 million Series A funding. The round was led by Peterson Partners, a Salt Lake City-based firm whose investments have included Allbirds, Solidcore, Bonobos, Rails Clothing and Madison Reed.  Glowbar was founded in 2019 by Rachel Liverman, a third-generation aesthetician, with services including dermaplaning, chemical peels, extractions and LED. The corporate began with a TriBeCa studio, but now has expanded its Latest York City footprint to the Upper East Side, Union Square and Williamsburg. Amber Fillerup’s Hair Brand Dae Closes $8 Million Series

Influencer Amber Fillerup Clark’s Dae Hair has raised a $8 million Series A funding. The raise was led by Verity Enterprise Partners, cofounded by Tina Bou-Saba and Matt Levin, with participation from Digital Brand Architects, Whitney Port, Aimee Song, Christine Andrew, and with continued participation of existing investor Willow Growth Partners. The round brings the brand’s total funding to $10.6 million, as Dae raised a $2.6 million seed round last yr.
