Lingua Franca Toasts John Hardy Collab on the Waverly Inn
On Thursday afternoon, the Waverly Inn opened for a rare lunch service to have a good time the Lingua Franca and John Hardy Mother’s Day collaboration. “This place has fed me, literally and figuratively,” said Lingua Franca founder Rachelle Hruska MacPherson. The brand’s newly opened town house headquarters are positioned just a couple of blocks away from the favored restaurant. The brand new “Mother Franca Project” includes embroidered cashmere sweaters and a customizable John Hardy necklace, which incorporates a sterling silver pendant that might be engraved with the initials of the wearer’s nearest and dearest. Fashion Spirit: Marking his first collaboration with a spirits brand, Kim Jones has joined forces with Hennessy X.O cognac to launch an exclusive collection. The British designer, who's artistic director of men’s collections at Dior and head of womenswear at Fendi, has designed a masterpiece decanter, a limited-edition bottle and a fashion item as a part of the project, set to be unveiled in London in March to coincide with the business launch of the road. For its latest project, streetwear retailer One Block Down has teamed with RefrigiWear to have a good time the American label’s 60-year legacy in workwear. The retailer has customized 4 of the brand’s signature pieces in a limited-edition collection that features the Iron-Tuff jacket and vest, a heavyweight double-cotton hoodie and rugged leather gloves. Celine’s Space: Celine has unveiled its latest boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré. Hedi Slimane’s brutalist vision is delivered to life with sleek brass and slick marble, a wall of mirrors and art installations. Situated at 384 Rue Saint-Honoré, the shop is dedicated to accessories, fragrance, leather goods and high jewelry, sitting catty corner from its ready-to-wear boutique on Rue Duphot. The smaller space positioned at 390 has housed the brand’s haute parfumerie since 2019. Celine took over the old Loewe space round the corner to create a showcase for its classic Triomphe bags, leather goods and jewellery.
