Sindiso Khumalo to Take Her Colourful, Playful Textiles, Designs

LONDON — Sindiso Khumalo, the Cape Town-based sustainable textile designer, is ready to bring her punchy colours and retro designs to high streets worldwide through a collaboration with & Other Stories, WWD has learned. The limited-edition collection of dresses, swimwear and accessories has been constructed from materials including organic cotton, recycled cotton and linen. It's going to launch in April in chosen & Other Stories stores, and online. The prints, as at all times, are based on Khumalo’s hand-painted watercolors and collages, and inspired by the designer’s South African heritage. The sun-drenched images for the campaign have also been shot in South Africa. Repossi Designs Limited-Edition Ring for Cheval Blanc Hotels

As global tourism continues to ramp up, Repossi and Cheval Blanc have linked on a limited-edition design that celebrates Cheval Blanc’s signature color to be sold in luxury gift shops. Cheval Blanc, a part of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s hotel management division, has five locations internationally — including Paris, St. Barths, St. Tropez, Randheli and Courchevel. Repossi creative director Gaia Repossi reinterpreted the maison’s Berbere ring, with its trademark stacked bands, to reflect Cheval Blanc’s sophisticated, global mentality. For the collaboration, Repossi covered the larger of its Berbere Chromatic ring’s two bands in a taupe lacquer.
