OVS Donates to Emilia Romagna Region – WWD

Courtesy Image MORE HELP: After the widespread flooding within the Emilia Romagna region in Italy that caused at the least 14 deaths and left 1000's of individuals homeless, many brands have shown their support with donations to the affected populations. The most recent company to hitch the list is Italian apparel and retail chain OVS, which on Monday donated gift vouchers for the whole amount of 150,000 euros to the municipalities of Cesena, Faenza, Forlì and Ravenna, most impacted by the damages. Vouchers will be spent in OVS, Upim, Croff shops. Kering Makes Donation to Italy’s Emilia Romagna Region Hit

MILAN – Kering said Saturday it's making an undisclosed donation to Italy’s Emilia Romagna region, which has been hit by widespread flooding that caused no less than 14 deaths and left hundreds of individuals homeless. Kering follows within the footsteps of automotive giant Ferrari, headquartered in Maranello, also within the region, which donated 1 million euros to the regional civil protection agency. Kering said it's making the donation on behalf of its maisons, which include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Pomellato and Brioni, amongst others.
