EXCLUSIVE: Dunhill Taps Simon Holloway as Creative Director
LONDON — Simon Holloway has been named creative director of luxury British men’s brand Dunhill and his appointment is effective immediately, WWD has learned. Holloway was previously creative director of James Purdey & Sons which, like Dunhill, is an element of the Compagnie Financière Richemont stable. Dunhill said his successor at Purdey will likely be revealed shortly. Holloway succeeds Mark Weston, who exited as chief creative officer of Dunhill in late 2022 following greater than five years on the brand. He left shortly after the arrival of chief executive officer Laurent Malecaze, who's setting a latest tone at Dunhill. PARIS ­— Famille C Participations, the Courtin family’s holding company, has taken a majority stake in Pai Skincare to assist step up the brand’s growth and switch it into selective distribution’s clean skincare leader. In April 2021, Famille C Participations purchased a minority stake in Pai, leading its $9 million Series B investment round. Financial terms of essentially the most recent investment weren't disclosed. “It’s time for Pai to speed up in its country of origin, which is the U.K., and to develop in Europe,” said Prisca Courtin, chief executive officer of Famille C Participations.
