Penélope Cruz to Receive Film Honor, Calvin Klein Taps

Guest of Honor: The brand new Biarritz International Film Festival is off to a stellar start. The fledgling film festival will welcome Penélope Cruz because the guest of honor for its very first edition, with the Oscar winner set to present a screening of her film “On the Fringe” ahead of its French premiere. Cruz not only stars in but produced the film, which received a slew of Goya nominations — Spain’s version of the Oscars — for director Juan Diego Botto, costars Luis Tosar, Christian Checa, in addition to a nod for Cruz herself. Alexis Stone Turned Into Jean Paul Gaultier for Campaign

DOUBLE TAKE: If you happen to think Jean Paul Gaultier is springing across a Parisian street holding a baguette aloft in his brand’s latest ready-to-wear campaign, look again. It’s actually British drag performer and makeup artist Alexis Stone who donned looks out of the “Dress Like Jean Paul” spring collection, inspired by the French designer’s Breton top, also generally known as a marinière, and kilt. Revealed on Wednesday on Instagram, the photographs were shot by London-based photographer Grant-James Thomas in Paris’ Les Halles neighborhood.
