PARIS – Sephora will launch what it calls the “Asia store of the longer term” in Singapore’s Raffles City Shopping Mall on Sept. 23. As we face a plastic packaging crisis, we explore whether compostable beauty is a viable alternative, or whether it is simply too good to be true Plastic is all over the place. It’s within the deep ocean, the Arctic, our tap water and our lungs. It’s a crisis. To tackle the issue, some brands have began using recycled plastic or ‘ocean-bound’ plastic packaging.
