The Fashion Institute of Technology will honor Gabriela Hearst, creative director of her namesake fashion brand and French luxury fashion house Chloé, with the Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion. The annual luncheon will happen Sept. 6 on the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in Latest York. The event marks the beginning of Latest York Fashion Week and advantages the Museum at FIT, the one museum in Latest York dedicated solely to the art of fashion. LONDON — U.S. First Lady Jill Biden selected a white lambskin cutout dress by Gabriela Hearst for the coronation Big Lunch at Downing Street on Sunday, hosted by British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and his wife Akshata Murty. Biden first wore the dress in September when she met with Queen Letizia of Spain ahead of World Cancer Research Day in Recent York City. CELEBRATING IN MIAMI: Ralph Lauren toasted its latest Miami Design District concept store with a cocktail party at a non-public waterfront residence in North Miami on Wednesday night. The brand brought its luxury “coastal living” aesthetic to the estate, outfitting poolside wicker lounge chairs with “RL” embroidered pillows and towels from Ralph Lauren Home. Guests included Melissa Barrera, Joan Smalls, Lily Aldridge, Noah Beck, Diana Silvers, Claire Holt and Camila Coelho.
