RePurpose Global Acquires Bluebird Climate, a Sustainability Software

Plastic motion platform RePurpose Global is acquiring Bluebird Climate, a sustainability software company that helps beauty brands assess the environmental performance of their products, ingredients, and packaging. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Founded in 2021 by Jamie McCroskery, Anisha Gupta and Dennis Lee, Bluebird Climate’s software platform offers lifecycle assessments, packaging waste and recyclability evaluation, and consumer transparency tools for the buyer goods industry. McCroskery got here up with the concept for the corporate when working at Glossier and experienced firsthand the duty of attempting to get product out the door, concurrently fitting in with latest regulations and with the ability to answer customers’ questions on sustainability. “We founded this company to construct [companies] that tool so sustainability is integrated into their workflow,” he said. Armani Beauty Appoints Richard Pinabel Latest Global Brand President

PARIS – Richard Pinabel is Armani beauty’s recent global brand president. The chief, with 25 years of beauty experience, succeeds Véronique Gautier within the role. As previously reported, she has left the brand after having led it for 13 years. “I sincerely thank Véronique for her tremendous contribution,” Cyril Chapuy, president of L’Oréal Luxe, the licensee of Armani beauty, said in a press release. “Her leadership skills and profound understanding of the posh industry have been truly invaluable for the success of Armani beauty.”  Gautier worked closely with Giorgio Armani to introduce products reminiscent of Sì, the fragrance that has long been fronted by Cate Blanchett, and reinforced Armani’s masculine scent franchises Acqua di Giò and Code.
