Value of Beauty Alliance Holds Launch Event

BRUSSELS – Greater than 250 guests streamed into Brussels’ stately Art and History Museum to assist kick off the Value of Beauty Alliance. Amongst attendees there on Wednesday evening were members of the European Parliament and European Commission — the hearts and minds the brand new alliance especially goals to the touch because the alliance was formed to underline the importance of Europe’s beauty value chain. On the event were beauty executives and journalists, who listened to keynote speeches by Nicolas Hieronimus, chief executive officer of L’Oréal, and Vincent Warnery, CEO of Beiersdorf, in addition to people from the EU governing bodies. Coty’s Stock Holds Regular Amid Reports Kylie Jenner Wants

Investors appeared unmoved by news that Kylie Jenner is reportedly following in her sister’s footsteps and looking out to purchase back her beauty business from Coty. The wonder company’s stock was up 0.9 percent at $11.66 in midmorning trading Thursday after Bloomberg reported that the truth star turned beauty mogul was trying to buy back the 51 percent stake of Kylie Cosmetics that Coty Inc. paid $600 million for in 2020 amid reported frustration over the way it has managed the brand. Representatives for Coty and Jenner didn't immediately reply to requests for comment. Savannah College of Art and Design Holds 2023 Fashion Show 

The Savannah College of Art and Design held its annual fashion show on Friday evening on the SCAD Atlanta campus, in addition to virtually via the university’s website. “The placement is de facto stunning — the runway form of curves across the courtyard of this brand recent constructing they’ve just opened on the Atlanta campus. Raisefashion Holds First In-person Event to Support BIPOC Creatives

Raisefashion, a corporation dedicated to the advancement of creatives who're Black, Indigenous, or People of Color, celebrated the importance of community and programs that support up-and-comers with its first in-person event Tuesday night. Nearly 200 people attended what turned out to be a standing-room-only gathering at Soho House, in line with a post-event e-mail from the nonprofit’s founder Felita Harris. The organization was founded in 2020, following the police murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis and the Black Lives Matter movement. With Harris on the helm, Raisefashion provides mentorship, resources and industry access to enhance the equity of Black, Indigenous or People of Color individuals.
