King Charles Honors Anna Wintour, Roksanda Ilincic in Debut
LONDON – Anna Wintour and Roksanda Ilincic have each received accolades in King Charles’ debut birthday honors list. Wintour, who already holds the title of Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, has change into a Companion of Honour, a top accolade. She joins figures including Paul Smith, J.K. Rowling, Elton John and Paul McCartney as members of the select group. The glory is reserved for individuals who have made “a significant contribution to the humanities, science, medicine, or government lasting over a protracted time period,” based on the British Royal Household. LONDON — Foday Dumbuya, founder and artistic director of fashion label Labrum London, has been named the most recent recipient of Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. King Charles III presented the award to Dumbuya during a ceremony, which showcased all of the talent support initiatives of the BFC Foundation, at 180 Studios on Thursday afternoon.
