Estée Lauder Inks Uber Eats’ First Beauty Partnership
Beauty enthusiasts will soon have the opportunity to Uber Eats their favorite candles and skincare to their homes. As a part of a deal between Uber and The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., Jo Malone London and Origins will arrange shop on the Uber Eats and Postmates apps this weekend, allowing customers to buy products from greater than 60 stores within the U.S. The partnership is a possibility for Lauder — which recently reported a 16 percent sales growth — to profit from Uber’s delivery business, which has grown 150 percent year-over-year, in keeping with Uber. Stylitics Inks Deal to Acquire Wide Eyes
Stylitics, the AI-powered digital merchandising and styling technology platform, inked a deal to amass Wide Eyes, a visible AI solution provider based in Barcelona.  Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but Stylitics said in a press release that the acquisition enhances its “inspirational commerce platform with image recognition and artificial intelligence technology that drives easier product discovery and faster conversion.”  The acquisition occurs as more retailers, brands and consumer embrace visual merchandising and shopping. Virtue Labs Inks Recent Funding Round, Hires Recent CEO
Hair care brand Virtue Labs has tapped Jose Luis Palacios as chief executive officer concurrently it has raised a recent financing round led by Clearasil and Only for Men owner Combe, its majority shareholder. Palacios takes the reins from Virtue Labs founder Melisse Shaban, who launched the brand in 2017. Shaban, the previous CEO of Strivectin Operating Company and Frédéric Fekkai will proceed to function an adviser to the CEO and the board, based on the corporate.
