John Demsey Joins L Catterton as Senior Advisor –
L Catterton looks to be eyeing prestige beauty with the appointment of John Demsey as senior adviser. While no official announcement was made, Demsey is listed on the investment firm’s site as a senior adviser. A representative for L Catterton declined to comment, while Demsey didn't not reply to request for comment. Demsey was most recently an executive group president on the Estée Lauder Cos., overseeing a few of its key brands, including MAC, Estée Lauder, Tom Ford Beauty and Clinique. He was asked to go away the business last 12 months after he posted a meme on Instagram that contained a racial slur and joke about COVID-19. On Thursday afternoon, the Waverly Inn opened for a rare lunch service to have a good time the Lingua Franca and John Hardy Mother’s Day collaboration. “This place has fed me, literally and figuratively,” said Lingua Franca founder Rachelle Hruska MacPherson. The brand’s newly opened town house headquarters are positioned just a couple of blocks away from the favored restaurant. The brand new “Mother Franca Project” includes embroidered cashmere sweaters and a customizable John Hardy necklace, which incorporates a sterling silver pendant that might be engraved with the initials of the wearer’s nearest and dearest.
