Donna Karan Sets Date for Inaugural ‘Style for Strength’

Last yr, timed to Veterans Day, Donna Karan announced a latest initiative in collaboration with Veteran Services USA, cofounded by Cheri Kaufman. Now, several days after Memorial Day, the designer is unveiling the primary “Style for Strength: Celebrating Our Heroes” event, set for Monday at Urban Zen in Recent York. Karan recruited 18 of her designer peers to repurpose and redesign vintage military clothing, which shall be auctioned off throughout the inaugural event, happening at Urban Zen’s West Village space. Getty Images, Nicole Richie made a chic style statement while attending her sister Sofia Richie‘s wedding on Saturday in Antibes on the French Riviera. For the big day, Nicole looked to Donna Karan, wearing a strapless black gown with a sculpted pointy feature along the neckline, which nearly mirrored a flower and delicate draping throughout the torso.
