Chaka Khan’s unmistakable voice is one that may immediately make you desire to get in your feet. Whether it’s on “I’m Every Woman” or “Ain’t No one,” the Chicago-native has been blessing us along with her buttery-smooth vocals because the Seventies. As if that weren’t enough, she’s all the time been one to serve up aspirational hair and makeup looks, too. Naeem Khan will likely be honored June 7 on the Spring Symposium & Luncheon at Museum of the City of Recent York.
As a part of the event, Kahn will sit down for a conversation with Fern Mallis.
The City of Design Award, created by the Museum of the City of Recent York, was inaugurated in 2015 to acknowledge those that have made Recent York the design capital of the world and who encourage future generations of designers to bring their talents to Recent York City.
Past recipients have included Norma Kamali, Cynthia Rowley, Elizabeth Graziolo, Peter Marino, Jacques Grange, Ralph Pucci, Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan.

MARK THE CALENDAR: The 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards, for which Amazon Fashion is the presenting partner, will happen Nov. 6 on the American Museum of Natural History.
That is the primary time within the award’s 42-year history that they can be held at this location.
