King Charles III Honors Labrum London With Queen Elizabeth

LONDON — Foday Dumbuya, founder and artistic director of fashion label Labrum London, has been named the most recent recipient of Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design. King Charles III presented the award to Dumbuya during a ceremony, which showcased all of the talent support initiatives of the BFC Foundation, at 180 Studios on Thursday afternoon. The event was accompanied by a performance curated by Dumbuya, featuring two drummers, a guitarist, a Kora player, and a musician whose powerful vocal was “attempting to lift the foundation,” in accordance with Dumbuya. LONDON — King Charles III’s coronation numbers are in. In accordance with reports from WeArisma, an influence analytics company, Katy Perry and Kate Middleton took the spot for essentially the most influential moments in the course of the coronation. Perry’s lilac Vivienne Westwood outfit generated a media value of $4.7 million, while Middleton’s Alexander McQueen gown had an engagement value of $349,700 based on a picture from Time magazine’s Instagram. LONDON — It took numerous savvy to compete with all of the regal ermine, purple satin and gold lace at Westminster Abbey, but a few of the biggest names in British design managed it, balancing tradition with style, and sending powerful messages with their designs for the coronation.
