Louis Vuitton is in Los Angeles presenting “Crafting Dreams,” a set of objects and goods. Opened on Wednesday and available for visits until May 3, access is by appointment only at a non-public residence. Visitors can expect Objets Nomades, hardsided trunks, watches, wonderful jewelry and one-of-a-kind leather goods. MICHAEL BUCKNER/WWD Gucci has launched its first ultra-luxe Salon store concept in L.A., complete with fresh-off-the-red-carpet gowns. The 4,380-square-foot space is on the prime corner of Melrose Place and Melrose Avenue in an ivy-covered constructing that for years was occupied by Marc Jacobs. He first put the sleepy, leafy street of antique dealers on the luxurious fashion map when he opened his store there in 2005, resulting in the arrival of Bottega Veneta, Balmain, Chloé, Oscar de la Renta, Marni, Golden Goose and plenty of more on what’s develop into certainly one of L.A.’s toniest industrial thoroughfares. Dior Beauty Unveils Gris Dior Pop-up in L.A. –
The juice at the middle of Dior’s Gris — or gray — is in reality violet. It’s the colour of the unisex fragrance, seen through its transparent bottle. “It definitely led loads of the inspiration,” Ben Johnston said of the purple hue. The artist is certainly one of five creatives tapped by Dior to interpret the scent in artistic endeavors. He’s joined by Andrés Reisinger, Thomas Trum, Mileece and Collectif Scale.
