Leonard A. Lauder to Leave Board of Directors –
It’s the top of an era: Leonard A. Lauder will step down from the board of directors of the Estée Lauder Cos. in November when his current term expires. Lauder, who turned 90 this 12 months, will retain the title of chairman emeritus of the firm, which was founded by his parents, Estée and Joseph Lauder, in 1946. DLS Outfitters’ Lee Leonard Dead at 74
Lee Leonard, one in all the principals of the DLS Outfitters consulting firm, has died on the age of 74. Fred Derring, president and founding father of DLS, said he believes Leonard passed away on Recent 12 months’s Eve or Recent 12 months’s Day but wasn’t sure of the precise day or reason for death. Derring said he grew concerned when he couldn’t reach Leonard by phone or email and went to his apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Jan. 1 to examine on him. Leonard Lauder Launches Scholarship for FIT Program – WWD
Leonard A. Lauder is inaugurating a scholarship with FIT. Launching fall 2023, the Leonard A. Lauder Endowed Scholarship in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing is a $1 million fund that can award as much as 4 undergraduate students $10,000 annually to cover their tuition expenses. “FIT graduates contribute significantly to the creative and business economy, including the beauty industry,” Lauder said in a press release. “These graduates have a rare impact in our industry, and The Estée Lauder Cos. is fortunate to have many wonderful FIT graduates amongst our employees.” To be eligible for consideration, students of the Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing program should have a GPA of three.0 or above. “The Leonard A.
