Red light therapy, which employs low levels of red light, can treat a slew of skin concerns, in keeping with the Cleveland Clinic. The range is alleged to span sun damage to cellular function — and a few researchers say the modality may even help with muscle recovery.
“People should not just taking a look at the wellness trends when it comes to the way it’s making them look, but taking a look at how they’re making them feel as well,” says Shakaila Forbes-Bell, an in-house fashion psychologist at Afterpay.
