Disney and Virgil Abloh Securities Link, Veronica Beard Shows
VIRGIL AND MICKEY: The Walt Disney Co. is jumping onto the Virgil Abloh bandwagon. Starting Thursday, Disney and Virgil Abloh Securities, the late designer’s creative company, have teamed up to supply never-before-seen artwork of Mickey Mouse as reimagined by Abloh. Abloh’s artwork features the designer’s unique interpretation of the famous rodent printed in various colorways on a select assortment of products including sweatshirts and tees for each adults and youngsters. Prices range from $30 to $120 and the merchandise might be available while supplies last. The limited-edition merchandise might be available on the Brooklyn Museum as a part of its exhibition “Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech.” The exhibition has its own dedicated shop inside the museum and the merchandise may also be sold...

The 66th edition of the annual film festival brought together a lot of today’s big celebrities to have a good time their upcoming film projects, akin to Florence Pugh, Timothée Chalamet, Jennifer Lawrence and lots of more.  Chalamet continued his streak of standout suits on the premiere of his upcoming hybrid thriller and romance film “Bones and All,” where he wore an all-white, asymmetric suit from Alexander McQueen. IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE: Dior is cementing its longstanding relationship with Harrods with a vacation event that may take over the London department store’s windows and facade for a celebration of “The Wonderful World of Dior.” Running from Nov. 10 to Jan. 3, the multipronged happening will involve events on every floor of the shop, including a micro-village on the lower ground floor and a pop-up café. The front of the shop on Brompton Road will likely be adorned with a monumental light installation featuring classic Dior emblems just like the compass rose, certainly one of the important thing symbols of the brand’s 2022 holiday campaign.
