In the most recent step of its Marni Jam multidisciplinary program, the brand has teamed with Erykah Badu to create a limited-edition capsule collection codesigned by the Italian brand’s creative director and the American singer and songwriter. This system geared at engaging members of Marni’s growing community spans from in-store happenings to codesigned collections and kicked off with the Marni x Carhartt Wip tie-up unveiled in January, followed by a recent collaboration with No Emptiness Inn. Balmain Moves to London’s Mount Street, Near Simone Rocha
Courtesy MOUNT BALMAIN: Balmain has moved its London store, however it hasn’t gone far. The brand, which opened a flagship on South Audley Street in 2015, has moved across the corner to 94 Mount Street, with neighbors including Simone Rocha and Marni. Balmain’s recent, 1,077-square-foot store houses the ladies’s, men’s and accessories collections, and there's also a personal suite for VIP appointments. The shop soft launched earlier in March, with creative director Olivier Rousteing officially cutting the ribbon this week with a cocktail for patrons and a small, private dinner for friends and collaborators. EXCLUSIVE: Marni to Stage Show in Tokyo on Feb. 1
MILAN — Francesco Risso is gearing as much as unveil his fall 2023 collection for Marni in Tokyo, the creative director of the Italian brand said in an exclusive interview. This confirms a WWD report from October. The show can be held on Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. local time. “A yr ago, I made a decision to stage a series of traveling shows with our team and a crew of musicians to bring energy to different cities and provides back to our friends and communities world wide,” said Risso. “But these aren't repeat shows,” he underscored.
