You would possibly have seen Moncler and adidas Originals’ latest collaboration quite literally blowing up on social media, with traffic light puffers and bubble-padded trainers filling up your feeds. Designed to push the boundaries of co-creation through a mixture of the brands’ iconic styles (think: three-striped city sportswear meets pillowy outdoor looks) the gathering also finds inspiration in physical boundaries, spanning mountaintops and the metropolitan cities below. MILAN — Moncler chairman and chief executive officer Remo Ruffini is rebooting Moncler Grenoble as a “high performance” brand. Exemplifying this strategy, the brand is launching its latest collection with a brief film shot by Jonas Lindstroem. With the campaign, it unveils its latest and latest brand ambassador, French skilled skier Richard Permin. The video shows Permin skiing down Chile’s glacial Quetrupillán volcano in probably the most difficult conditions, narrowly outpacing tumbling snow.
