R.e.m. Beauty has named a recent chief executive officer. Michelle Shigemasa, who has helmed each skin and color brands up to now, might be taking the highest slot at R.e.m., which was founded in 2021 by multihyphenate Ariana Grande. Shigemasa previously served as the worldwide CEO of Murad, and prior to that, spent 13 years at Smashbox. “Michelle’s deep expertise in beauty and commitment to purpose matches perfectly with my vision for R.e.m. Personal Care Products Council Names Thomas F. Myers CEO

The Personal Care Products Council on Wednesday appointed Thomas F. Myers chief executive officer. The appointment will go into effect in January. Myers, who has been with the council since 2010, acts as executive vice chairman for legal and regulatory affairs and general counsel. Prior to joining the council, he worked at the USA Chamber of Commerce as a regulatory counsel for environment and energy, in addition to in international law. Myers will succeed Lezlee Westine, who has led the council as president and CEO since 2009.
