Mercedes-Benz Signs Fragrance Partnership With Give Back Beauty
MILAN — Give Back Beauty and Mercedes-Benz Customer Solutions GmbH — a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Group AG — have inked a long-term business partnership, WWD has learned. The deal comes along with Give Back Beauty’s takeover of INCC Parfums, the automotive brand’s license owner since 2011. Financial details of the deal weren't disclosed. With the move, Give Back Beauty will take charge of the creation, production, marketing and global distribution of fragrances under the Mercedes-Benz label, in addition to its related brands Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach. Estée Lauder Inks Uber Eats’ First Beauty Partnership
Beauty enthusiasts will soon have the opportunity to Uber Eats their favorite candles and skincare to their homes. As a part of a deal between Uber and The Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., Jo Malone London and Origins will arrange shop on the Uber Eats and Postmates apps this weekend, allowing customers to buy products from greater than 60 stores within the U.S. The partnership is a possibility for Lauder — which recently reported a 16 percent sales growth — to profit from Uber’s delivery business, which has grown 150 percent year-over-year, in keeping with Uber. Kathy Ireland Debuts Skin Care Partnership With Luminess
Kathy Ireland has partnered with Luminess on a technology-focused offering of skincare products. The collaboration, dubbed “Kathy Ireland Beauty [Heart] Luminess,” will debut this month on kathyirelandbeauty.com. It entails Kathy Ireland-branded iterations of Luminess’ Kinetic Skin Toning Device and its accompanying Kinetic Skin Treatment Serum, along with Luminess’ Airbrush Skincare Device and its complementary serums. More focused than ever, Roc Skincare is kicking off a latest partnership because it doubles down on purpose. The skincare brand has joined forces with Sarah Jessica Parker for the #LookForwardProject, meant to shift societal attitudes on aging. The initiative has several prongs — a campaign, a Parker-curated gift set and a charitable donation — and was born out of clinical research and girls’s attitudes toward aging. In response to a study from the brand with greater than 600 participants, 90 percent of ladies feel anxious about aging, the first driver being appearance-related. 60 percent of ladies are anxious about their appearance aging, while only 43 percent worry about amassing enough money to retire.
