Chanel Plants Flowers and Trees in Paris’ Tuileries Garden –

FLOWER POWER: One other 12 months, one other plant. For the annual Jardins, Jardin event held in Paris’ Tuileries Garden in early June, Chanel is casting a highlight on the orange blossom tree.  From Thursday to Sunday, people can experience it through an immersive visit held in a garden and installation tucked behind the Orangerie museum — aptly chosen, because it once served because the greenhouse of the previous Tuileries Palace.  Upon arrival, to set the scene, guests encounter a 2,150-square-foot garden bursting with colourful flowers and trees, including some lent from the Château de Versailles’ greenhouse.   Inside a structure, neroli from France, which stems from the orange blossom’s distillation, is highlighted. A.P.C. Plants Flag in Italy With First Store in Milan

MILAN — After selling a majority stake to consumer investment giant L Catterton and presenting its fall 2023 collection during Paris Fashion Week, A.P.C. is capping off a busy month by officially planting a flag in Italy. The contemporary fashion label has opened its first store in Milan’s arty Brera district, which will likely be celebrated with a cocktail event on March 30. “Italy has all the time been in our development plan however it was mostly an issue of timing. Our recent growth on the Italian market has been a robust sign that it was now the time to open,” told WWD Jean Touitou, who founded the brand in 1987.
