Beauty and Well-being, a media and event platform founded by industry veteran Clémence von Mueffling, is gearing up for its seasonal pop-up The Collective.  The event, which might be hosted on the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) skyroom on May 29 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., will feature several beauty and wellness brands, including L’infuseur, Emily’s Pillow, Koba, AKT London, Shikohin, Nuence, Kure Bazaar, La Rosée and Macrene Actives.  Together with the spring-themed event, Beauty and Well-being can be celebrating its 10-year anniversary.  “It’s definitely going to be much more special than usual because we've some brands which have never been shown in the USA before,” said von Mueffling. “All of the founders might be there.”  Von Mueffling first began hosting The Collective...

Rihanna’s First Fenty Beauty Pop-up Launches in Shanghai
Rihanna landed in Shanghai on Tuesday night and got right all the way down to business. She whipped up some Chinese pancakes, frolicked with fans and native influencers, and hopped on three livestreams on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok. The superstar songstress was on the town to advertise Fenty Beauty, which officially entered the mainland China market via Sephora in February. The brand can be available on Tmall, Douyin and sephora.com. Her visit coincided with Fenty Beauty‘s first mainland China pop-up, dubbed Fenty Beauty Alley. The pop-up is happening at Fotografiska Shanghai, which opened by the Suzhou Creek last fall. Miss Dior is back on the town in Los Angeles. The French home is unveiling an immersive installation in celebration of the newest incarnation of its famed scent Miss Dior, created by Dior Perfume creation director Francis Kurkdjian. “I dove into the history of the creation of Miss Dior and anchored my inspiration within the powerful and evocative words of Christian Dior,” Kurkdjian told WWD in an exclusive statement. Kurkdjian has worked on five perfumes for Dior since succeeding François Demachy because the in-house perfumer in 2021. John Legend Unveils Loved01 Holiday Pop-up at Thirteen Lune
John Legend is moving into the vacation spirit with a pop-up in Los Angeles. It’s to showcase his brand Loved01 (pronounced “loved one”), the unisex skin and body care company he launched in February. Teaming with Thirteen Lune, the activation will probably be open on the retailer in its brick-and-mortar location in Larchmont Village at 120 North Larchmont Boulevard through January. “I’m so excited to launch Loved01 at Thirteen Lune,” Legend said in an announcement. “Our brands share a mission of centering the needs of those with melanin-rich skin and of amplifying diverse founders.
