Stephanie Linnartz continues to make her mark on Under Armour. One week after cutting 50 corporate jobs as a method to trim expenses, Under Armour is now shuffling its executive team. On Wednesday, the Baltimore-based sports brand said that two top executives — chief operating officer Colin Browne, who had served as interim chief executive officer until Linnartz joined the corporate in February, and chief product officer Lisa Collier — will probably be exiting. TikTok’s Dr. Muneeb Shah goes from recommending skincare products to creating them. The dermatologist has partnered with Indē Wild founder and fellow influencer Diipa Büller-Khosla to codevelop the brand’s latest innovation: An SPF product arriving this fall. “[Shah] found our vitamin C serum organically and loved it, after which he asked to be an angel investor,” said Büller-Khosla of how the pair’s relationship kicked off. SHANGHAI — Chinese skincare giant Proya Cosmetics has recently been fined by Hangzhou West Lake District’s Market Supervision Authority for a misleading product description that labeled an antiaging serum as containing the next concentration of lively ingredients than it actually did. Proya Cosmetics claimed Proya’s Elastic Brightening Youth Essence contained “2% ergothioneine” and “1% decarboxylated carnosine” on major social media platforms comparable to Douyin, WeChat Mall and Xiaohongshu. But a test conducted by the local authority showed that the actual concentration was 0.001 percent and 0.1 percent for the 2 ingredients, respectively, in line with the penalty decision.
