Seoul Fashion Week Revamps With K-Pop, Contemporary Art

SEOUL — Seoul Fashion Week‘s spring 2024 edition took place one month sooner than usual amid the stifling late-summer heat, with fashion enthusiasts braving faux furs and leather balaclavas to see and be seen. South Korea’s largest fashion event reset its calendar from October to September for the primary time since its inception in 2000, and took advantage of the star wattage of the Korean entertainment industry with a view to bounce back from the consequences of COVID-19. Face masks had been compulsory in hospitals and other public areas within the Asian country until as recently as May, making the 2024 spring collection the primary truly mask-free event. Bergdorf’s Revamps Second Floor of Goodman’s Men’s Store

Goodman is getting a facelift. The luxurious men’s-only store on Fifth Avenue is putting the ending touches on what men’s fashion director Bruce Pask described as an “intuitive readjustment” to satisfy the ever-changing needs of its customers. “There’s little or no of the shop that won’t be touched,” he said. The majority of the changes can be on the second floor, which houses tailored clothing, furnishings and luxury sportswear. The primary floor carries sportswear, shoes, jewelry, vintage watches, accessories and a Self Care shop while runway-driven designer collections are on the third floor together with casual footwear and the B Shop, a rotating boutique curated by Pask. Hermès Revamps First Mainland China Store in The Peninsula Beijing

LONDON — Hermès on Monday unveiled the renovated and expanded store in The Peninsula Beijing, the location of the brand’s first store in mainland China, which opened in 1997. Almost doubling its original size, the brand new store offers a more spacious and welcoming environment for patrons to explore the brand’s full range of products, from the silk collections, fashion jewelry and sweetness, to leather goods, women’s and men’s fashion, equestrian and tremendous jewelry and watches.
