HOME BASE: Anthony Vaccarello, who has taken men’s collections for Saint Laurent on the road the previous couple of years, will return to Paris for an IRL show during Men’s Fashion Week on Jan. 17, sources told WWD. The venue and other details couldn't immediately be learned. Men’s collections for fall 2023 are to be unveiled within the French capital from menswear from Jan. 17 to Jan. 22. Last July, Vaccarello mounted a spectacular display within the rolling desert outside of Marrakech, his models rounding a circular pool, out of which emerged an otherworldly ring, like a portal to a different dimension. PARIS — Ludovic de Saint Sernin, the designer known for his sensual, gender-fluid creations, has been named creative director of Ann Demeulemeester, signaling a recent creative direction for the home owned by Italian retailer Claudio Antonioli. Madonna, Saint Laurent Showcase ‘Sex’ Book Reedition at Art
On easily the busiest night Art Basel Miami Beach has seen to this point, Saint Laurent drew a specific crowd onto the beach for a viewing well price waiting in traffic for. Curated by Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello, the brand presented an exhibition of Steve Miesel’s iconic 1992 photography book “Sex,” featuring quite a few photographs of Madonna. Thirty years later, the photographs still have as much impact as ever, and on display in large scale on the partitions of the pop-up construction they demanded one’s attention.
