SCAD Lacoste Puts Christian Lacroix Costumes on Display

ON STAGE: SCAD Lacoste, the French branch of the Savannah College of Art and Design, is staging an exhibition of costumes created by Christian Lacroix at its SCAD FASH Lacoste museum space in Provence over the summer. The exhibition, which opened Saturday and runs through Nov. 1, features 40 costumes created by the designer for a production of Henrik Ibsen’s most famous play, “Peer Gynt,” on the Comédie Française, France’s oldest theater company. As Atlanta’s Arts and Film Scene Gains Traction, SCAD

Consistent with the strengthening arts and entertainment industry in Atlanta, the Savannah College of Art and Design’s SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film has tapped Alex Delotch Davis as executive director. Within the role, Delotch Davis, whose background includes 15 years of luxury, fashion management and humanities activations, may also oversee the museum’s outpost in Lacoste, France. She succeeds Alexandra Sachs, who spent 10 years on the university. The brand new hire knows the university well, having earned a master’s in luxury and fashion management from SCAD.
