Minthub, Maker of Products for Sexual Health, Raises Seed
Shine Ventures has made its first seed investment. The angel investment firm for early-stage start-ups, founded by Jess Hunichen and Emily Ward, the cofounders of influencer talent management agency Shine Talent Group, has partnered with Minthub, a business-to-business company developing white-label products across intimate care, sexual health and well-being meant for use during various life stages.  Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Hunichen, cofounder of Shine Ventures, said: “We strongly imagine within the vision and mission behind Minthub and are excited by their products that may shine a lightweight on missed health conditions.” The investment can be used for completion of the Male Intimate Care Range and Women’s Sexual Wellness Wearable Device. Evolvetogether Raises Seed Investment – WWD
Personal care brand Evolvetogether, launched by Cynthia Sakai in the course of the pandemic with masks that were worn by the likes of Justin Bieber and Vice President Kamala Harris, has secured funding from some well-known names in the wonder industry. The seed round was led by True Beauty Ventures, with participation from G9 Ventures and Gregg Renfrew, the founding father of Beautycounter, which was acquired by The Carlyle Group in 2021 in a deal that valued it at $1 billion.  Terms of the investment weren't disclosed, but sources told WWD Evolvetogether is heading in the right direction to hit $10 million in sales. Bread Beauty Supply Raises Seed Funding Round – WWD
Hair care line Bread Beauty Supply has raised a multimillion-dollar seed funding round, led by Fearless Fund, a enterprise capital fund focused on supporting women of color entrepreneurs. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed. Bread, which offers a variety of fresh products specifically designed for textured and curly hair, was launched three years ago by Maeva Heim, a Black Australian woman and sweetness industry veteran who struggled to search out brands that resonated together with her when she transitioned from relaxed to natural hair.
