Google Search Gets ‘Shop the Look,’ Steps Into 3D
Google’s goals for the style shopping experience are snapping into view. At its annual “Search On” event Wednesday, the Mountain View, California-based tech company unleashed several updates for product search and discovery in its mobile app that cut to the guts of the net apparel and shoe business. The corporate introduced pilot programs that bring 3D product imagery for sneakers into search results, in addition to a recent “Shop the Look” feature for attire, personalized results and other updates to assist U.S. consumers feel more confident about buying. Altogether, the corporate unveiled nine recent tests and tools with the stated goal of creating shopping more visual and immersive, while helping consumers stay higher informed. Natalie Madeira Cofield made history because the highest-ranking Black woman within the Biden Administration when last 12 months, she was named because the assistant administrator for the Office of Women’s Business Ownership, a division throughout the Small Business Administration. Just ahead of Women’s Equality Day, she announced she’s exiting the role to concentrate on supporting female founders like herself to succeed in their fullest potential.
