They've ensured VF’s continued growth within the EMEA region, which late last month reported its eighth consecutive quarter of sales increases. Revenues were up 8 percent at constant exchange rates to $901.3 million within the fourth quarter ended April 1. CONTENT MATTERS: The much watched Supreme Court copyright case between established photographer Lynn Goldsmith and the Andy Warhol Foundation has swung in her favor. Thursday’s decision was hashed out over the image that Goldsmith took of the late musician Prince that was used for the premise of a silkscreen series by the Pop artist Andy Warhol. With a vote of 7-2, the court determined that Warhol’s images couldn't fall under “fair use” in copyright law. Many creatives in numerous fields were keeping a detailed eye on the proceedings. Brandon Bell After 50 years of the landmark laws, the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to an abortion. In a 5-3 decision, written by conservative Justice Samuel Alito, the Court ruled that Roe and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the 1992 decision that reaffirmed the fitting to abortion, were improper and needed to be be overturned.
