Saturday, September 10 is the height of the Atlantic hurricane season, but up to now things have been fairly quiet. FOX 13 Meteorologist Tony Sadiku says at this point there aren't any immediate tropical threats to the Sunshine State. Hurricane Earl remains to be out within the Atlantic as a category 2 storm, but Sadiku says it's having a tricky time sustaining itself because it moves north in open waters. There may be an area off the coast of Africa that has a 30 % likelihood of developing over the subsequent five days. He adds that as you look across the Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean, things are looking good with no activity.
