Moments after the jury voted against the death penalty for Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz, the parents of 14-year-old victim Alyssa Alhadeff angrily spoke out against the decision.
"I'm disgusted with those jurors, I'm disgusted with the system, which you could allow 17 dead and 17 others shot and never get the death penalty. What do we've got the death penalty for? What's the purpose of it? You set a precedent today," Dr. Ilan Alhadeff said. "I pray that animal suffers daily of his life in jail - and that he must have a brief life."
