MUSICAL NOTE: It looks like major celebrities will likely be a part of Pharrell Williams’ vision as Louis Vuitton’s recent men’s creative director. His first campaign for the French brand stars Rihanna, and it debuted Thursday on an enormous billboard on the Seine-facing side of the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. The music star wears a leather shirt in a pixellated Damier check that is barely partially buttoned, exposing her pregnancy bump. Her arms are laden with leather goods in Vuitton’s signature monogram, but in a spread of primary colours, including red, yellow and green. There could only be one winner. Following his viral Louis Vuitton campaign with Cristiano Ronaldo last November, Lionel Messi has returned solo for a second commercial for the French luxury brand.  While the primary image unveiled showed the world’s two leading soccer players deadlocked in a game of chess inspired by a match that famously led to a draw, the World Cup subsequently designated Messi because the winner as he led Argentina to victory for the primary time since 1986.
