LONDON — What comes after the fatigue of celebrities launching beauty brands? The reply is investing in real businesses with a structure and science behind it to back up the products. Loretta De Feo, founding father of London-based hair brand Dizziak has revealed that Dua Lipa is now an investor within the business she established in 2018. “Dua discovered the brand after using it,” said De Feo, adding that she all the time had the popstar in mind from the moment she launched. “She’s fresh and he or she’s got strong opinions that she’s not afraid to voice. The Ranch, known for its mental and physical fitness retreats, is expanding with a recent location in Hudson Valley, set to open in summer 2023. Hudson Valley isn't any stranger to the luxurious wellness space, as Auberge Resorts Collection opened its Wildflower Farms property there this month. The Ranch, founded by husband and wife duo Alex and Sue Glasscock, launched in 2010 with its Malibu, California location with the intention of making a wellness space where guests could truly immerse themselves. Clean Beauty Brands With Highest-growing Online Sales – WWD
While total online beauty sales are down as consumers return to brick-and-mortar shopping, many brands have still managed to see recent growth in online sales volumes. Notably, Olaplex is just not only the most important clean beauty brand in total online beauty sales, but additionally the top-growing, posting 39 percent year-over-year growth in online sales within the 12 months ending July 2022, versus the 12 months prior.  Trailing behind Olaplex are Not Your Mother’s Hair Care and Supergoop, which saw respective increases of 23 percent and 21 percent throughout the same period.
