They’re flexible so they don’t snap when you apply pressure on them, just like our natural nails. Typical acrylic nails are very rigid so they break off easily when pressure is applied, since they can’t bend.

I’ve never done press on nails quite that long, but usually the flexibility helps them last longer since the adhesive isn’t as strong as a nail salon. When you bang into things, the nails can absorb the impact instead of just popping off.

You should start filing the cuticle area of press ons to match the shape of your cuticle line. Changes the look. I only use press ons, been filing the bottoms for years and ppl always thing they’re professionally done
