British Vogue presents Princess Diana’s Life in Looks with The Crown star, Elizabeth Debicki. Ahead of the discharge of Netflix’s The Crown Season 5, Elizabeth Debicki takes Vogue through Princess Diana’s 20 most memorable looks, from the infamous revenge dress to her first British Vogue cover within the ’80s featuring chandelier diamond earrings.
When asked for her favourite look, Debicki opted for Diana’s blazer, jeans and cowboy boots ensemble from the Guards Polo Club in Windsor (1988): “That is what I believe we predict of when we predict of Diana within the ‘90s. The cowboy boots are incredible; we had these remade — I used to be obsessive about them. She was probably the primary Royal to ever wear a baseball cap in public. Simply to see a Royal off-duty and make it so cool. I believe it’s a lot a way that she made all the alternatives herself”. Watch the complete episode of British Vogue’s Life in Looks, as we break down Princess Diana’s 20 most memorable looks.

i am SO excited for the new season omg

Debicki has clearly has done her research for the role. However, I would've liked if the costume designer was being interviewed instead, or even with Debicki as a pair, as they have they have the real knowledge and then can speak to the translation into the series.

I teared up at the posthumous Vogue cover. It’s such a simple cover that shares exactly who Diana was – kind, beautiful, and genuine.

Diana had such a perfect physique impossible to act alike!

I love her!!!!! And I love that she is gonna be more in interviews and all that now ❤️❤️❤️

Since The Crown season 1 had premiered I always wondered who would portray the 90s confident Diana in the future seasons. Only two women came to my mind, Alexandra Maria Lara or Elizabeth Debicki. I still can't describe my happiness when I heard the latter was cast as Lady Di. We finally got an actress who looks so much like her. So stoked for season 5 already.

Yikes.
Savannah
This is oddly specific but I’m relieved that she doesn’t have her nails done. Every model/actress/artist always has their nails painted or acrylic and it’s just nice to see how she just doesn’t have it idk why

Nice could you also do bonnie and Clyde story
Stiph
The respect she is showing has full of class.

I don't like this. The only persons who should be commenting about Lady Diana's looks should be her family. Nothing against the actress. It feels to me like your using Lady Diana to promote the next season of The Crown. It's in poor taste in my opinion.

I'm utterly obsessed with the way she's flipping through the pages! So satisfying and smooth. Her impression in 1:47 is off the charts. Her aura perfectly fits Diana's, she sounds so elegant – and those eyes! Can't wait to watch her on screen, she's got that Emmy win up her sleeve.

The long jacket with shorter pencil skirt was such a look then! I have to admit to copying a lot of her outfits in the '80s – they were so good! ♡

Princess Diana is an epitome of elegance

I don't understand why people are offended, the crown has a very long list of people they have murdered when they interfered with their interests, lady di was murdered by the crown as was mary stweart or anne boleyn. There are thousands of other examples like that. Why do people think that all of a sudden the royal family have changed and care about others, all they care about is their status and the way they are perceived, their power depends on that. Their position in the royal chair depends on that. Now they are trying to change the way people see them, but it's too late. especially now that they did almost the same thing with Megan and Harry, and now that Charles is the king, such an inept ruler.

Elizabeth Debicki is such a great choice to play Princess Diana. She has that same quiet, serene aura that Diana had, even in her darkest times. I loved Emma Corin as well, she displays the wide-eyed naivety of the young princess very well. The casting for this show is always spectacular!
MEHREEN KHAN
I like her as diana

Queen of our heart Ladi Di❤❤❤

I love her omg
moji bien
Omg she looks EXACTLY like Sophie Turner

I hate when people with Polish names can't even pronounce them right and she is way too skinny to play Diana…
ArFareena Shahid
I think Emma in season 4 literally empathized with Lady Di, but Elizabeth somehow lacks that. Her looks may resemble to Diana alot but her immitation of her looks plain flat and a sort of mimickry. Emma wonderfully captured princesses Di's sadness, suffering and vulnerability on screen.
Madisyn Issaquah
now that's a perfect white woman
Philip James
i love her voice

This feels….wrong? Idk. I feel like either Harry or William should be doing this.

As a veteran living in Africa, the landmine outfit was my favourite.respect,

I"m not only excited for this new season, but more importantly, what Elizabeth Debicki will do next. She has such a magnetic personality to match her beauty.

I CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 5!!!!

I guess that I am the only one on this thread who think that she doesn’t channel Princess Diana. Not at all. Even when Princess Diana was really thin, she was not that thin. Look at Elizabeth Debicki in that famous black dress. She looks gaunt in it.
