“Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” will bow within the museum’s Tisch Galleries on May 5 and can run through July 16. Because the name suggests, the show will trace the aesthetic and conceptual themes that continually surfaced in his collections from the ’50s up until his death in 2019.
