WHY IS IT SO GOOD?
I desired to see if there have been some other ways in which I could keep my face looking fresh, tight and de-puffed that might also help to smooth the looks of lines alongside my general skincare routine. That’s once I got here across a gua sha YouTube tutorial. That was three years ago, and I’ve been using it ever since.
I exploit my gua sha while doing my morning skincare routine, ensuring my face has some kind of oil or cream to assist it glide across the face without pulling the skin. After moisturising, I take the gua sha and hold it semi-flush to my face, (not on a straight angle) and perform three or 4 movements in an upward motion a minimum of five times each. There are a whole bunch of routines on YouTube but I mainly deal with my cheekbones, frown lines and down the edges of my neck to release tension in those muscles. I pop mine within the fridge for an additional cooling/ de-puffing effect.
My face has totally modified over the past three years from using it. My natural bone structure is more pronounced and it gives me an quick lift and tightening sensation leaving me feeling snatched to the gods. It’s really good to make use of after a heavy night out whenever you feel busted AF. We’re all conversant in body stretches and exercises, nevertheless it’s also really necessary to stretch and work your facial muscles too, and gua sha really helps with that. You may do it sitting down with minimal effort while working from home or watching TV.
Other than the aesthetic advantages, it’s also therapeutic – for me, it’s an all-rounder with regards to wellness and feeling beautiful from inside. It helps to alleviate muscle pain, relieve tension, and reduce inflammation amongst other things. Overall, I might highly recommend. It’s really inexpensive but appears like you’re giving yourself a bouji facial with minimal effort – and the outcomes don’t lie 😉
