What, they couldn't find the light switch? I suspect Browne is responding to the political tenor of the moment, which is indeed dark. A designer whose shows are multi-racial and often feature gender bending outfits, Browne will remain important to watch in the near future in terms of negotiating the political/cultural crisis of the next four years.
