Yasmin’s Attitude Pride Icon award. “Obviously I don’t carry this around on a regular basis, just within the times where I would like a little bit little bit of motivation,” says the British Vogue December 2022 cover star. “It wasn’t only a win for me. It was a win for the entire community within the sense that we’re being seen”.

Yasmin Finney’s day by day essentials include her Maison Francis Kurkdjian Paris eau de parfum, her Soap & Glory hand cream and her “gorgeous chic shades” by Miu Miu. One other must-have is Yasmin’s Fenty Beauty powder by Rihanna. “My make-up for me is a way of expressing myself, and it’s also sort of like armour for me to exit into society and navigate it as a trans woman”.
