I saw Vee Nailedit prepping her practice hand and I believe it's slip proof, so she glued a nail tip on the practice hand original nail bed, and trimmed it short for the base iirc, and she sticked another nail tip using double tape or smth, I forgot what it is and she treated the second tip as the nail bed to work with, and it doesn't slip and slide since it sticks well to the practice hand, and when you're done you can just peel it off, I hope this helps you-^
