L’Oréal USA to Open Latest Jersey Research and Innovation

L’Oréal USA is opening a latest Research and Innovation Center in Clark, Latest Jersey.

In an announcement released Tuesday, the corporate revealed its existing facilities in the world, which have been around for greater than 60 years, are to get replaced by the $140 million, 250,000-square-foot center, which can strengthen L’Oréal’s scientific and technological research across hair, skin and makeup.

“This historic investment in our latest Research and Innovation Center is a crucial milestone for L’Oréal USA as we proceed to place science at the guts of all that we do to serve our American consumers with more revolutionary, inclusive and sustainable beauty products,” said David Greenberg, president and chief executive officer of L’Oréal USA, in an announcement.

Construction for the middle, which can unite about 550 employees across all areas of the corporate’s North America Research & Innovation Division, is already underway, and the power is anticipated to be fully operational in 2024.

“The U.S. is a singular market, and our strong presence on this highly collaborative environment will empower us to offer a fair higher standard of quality, efficacy and safety for our consumers,” said Sanford Browne, North America president of research and innovation. “With cutting-edge science and technology, advanced digital tools and data and a concentrate on green chemistry, we are going to proceed to invent the longer term of beauty.”

In August, L’Oréal USA opened its West Coast headquarters in El Segunda, California, a move that Greenberg, who was appointed CEO in February after an almost 30-year tenure at the corporate, told WWD was long within the making. Globally, the corporate also debuted a youth employment program.
