“Wildly Me,” in a frosted glass bottle, is making us consider a deodorant stick package—but prettier. It isn’t unlike the form of her twist-up Cheeky Pop Blush sticks, which Brown holds within the photo above. The ultra-modern design is certain to apeal to the 19-year-old’s demographic.
The scent includes notes of bergamot, sage, violet, purple iris, blooming wisteria, and lavender, which is in sync with the purple floral decoration on the bottle. Teaser videos posted on social media feature flowers, including violets and irises—see the screenshots above and video below.
Unlike another celebrity beauty brands that appear as if the one connection to the star is the brand’s name, Brown appears to be very involved with Florence by Mills. The brand began with a skincare focus, and earlier this yr, a color cosmetics collection featuring eye products launched at Ulta Beauty.
Brown spoke to WWD‘s Leigh Nordstrom concerning the means of selecting the scent—and the way necessary it’s to her that her brand doesn’t stray from using only natural and “clean” ingredients. “It’s necessary to me because as a teenager growing up within the industry and growing up in a makeup chair, I never knew what the makeup artist was putting on my skin…And that scared me.” Nordstrom writes in WWD’s exclusive interview.
Brown’s quote continues, “My godfather, Matthew Modine, he said to me, ‘Whatever they placed on your skin goes into your bloodstream,’ and that stuck with me for a very very long time. And it made me think, ‘Why don’t I am going right into a store and find an organization that I feel like I can wear?’”
The waitlist for Wildly Me opens today, and the product can be available on Florence By Mills’ website starting on August twenty second.
