Anthony Anderson and wife Alvina Anderson (née Stewart) appear to be going their separate ways after two children and 22 years of marriage.

In line with TMZ, Alvina recently filed for divorce on Friday in Los Angeles. She is in search of spousal support and for the actor to pay her attorney’s fees. As mentioned, the couple have two children in daughter Kyra, 26, and son Nathan, 22, an actor himself, who appeared within the Netflix sitcom Richie Wealthy.

This isn’t the primary time Alvina has filed for divorce. She attempted to finish their marriage in 2015 after the couple was separated for a time period. Nonetheless, the couple decided to work things out and maintained a united front from that point on.

When asked by the Every day Actor in 2012 how his wife has helped him together with his profession, he went into full detail about her support. “From – I’ll return to the start – her letting me use her automotive to go to my first audition

“My wife is a homemaker who decided to offer up her profession working within the electronic publicity department at NBC for 10 years to sit down at home and lift the kids and to support me because I’m always on the go,” he said, in line with Black and Married With Kids.

“And that’s what she does. , what she does as a stay-at-home mom, similar to all the opposite stay-at-home mothers and dads across the country is invaluable and unquantifiable. He Says She Helped Him Get Through Tumultuous Times in His Profession

After being accused of sexual assault by an additional on the set of “Hustle and Flow” in 2004, a case thrown out as a result of a scarcity of evidence, the actor said in 2005 that his wife helped him get through it.

“More oftentimes than not, you’re mechanically [assumed to be] guilty before innocent,” he said on the time. “Everyone realized I used to be the innocent victim of a shakedown. My wife and I even have all the time trusted one another, and I even have to thank her strength.”

After being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension, the star knew he needed to make a change. He got inspiration to accomplish that, losing greater than 47 kilos, from Alvina and his children.

“My wife’s turn out to be an avid gym rat, and he or she inspires me,” he told the Los Angeles Times in 2013. “My children are fit too and in addition help me keep going.”

In 2017, Alvina reportedly asked a Los Angeles judge to dismiss her divorce petition from 2015. From there, the couple walked their first red carpet together after reconciling on the 2017 SAG Awards, all smiles.
